When Zanyara is the better fit

  • You want UK data residency and an ICO-registered processor by default.
  • You value transparent per-check pricing with no annual minimum over an enterprise contract.
  • NFC chip verification and strong liveness/PAD matter to your fraud model.
  • You’d rather have direct support from a focused team than a large-suite account structure.

When Entrust IDV may fit better

  • You need the widest possible document and country coverage out of the box.
  • You’re standardising on a single enterprise identity-and-security suite beyond IDV.
  • You require specific certifications or procurement relationships an established vendor already holds.

Frequently asked questions

Is Onfido still available?
Yes — Onfido was acquired by Entrust in April 2024 and its product is now Entrust IDV (“formerly Onfido”). It remains a capable, widely-used platform. See our explainer on what the Entrust change means.
How is Zanyara different from Onfido / Entrust IDV?
Entrust IDV is a broad, enterprise identity-and-security suite with very wide document and country coverage. Zanyara is a focused, UK-hosted IDV + AML platform with transparent per-check pricing, NFC eMRTD chip reading, active and passive liveness, and a human-review console — with direct support rather than an enterprise sales motion. It’s a focus-and-transparency trade-off, not a claim of feature parity.
Is Zanyara certified?
We’re UK ICO-registered and GDPR-aligned with UK data residency. We are actively pursuing UK DIATF / DVS certification but do not hold it yet — we’ll always be straight about that. Match any provider’s certifications to your specific regulatory obligations.
